A classification of membership comprised of educational or research facilities/institutions, government or civilian, whose interests can be promoted or aided by the interaction within the AALAS scientific/educational organization.
A classification of membership comprised of entities concerned with laboratory animal science that are engaged in the promotion of animal-related research activities or the selling, production, and/or providing of services to the laboratory animal science profession.
A classification of membership comprised of not-for-profit organizations and groups with a purpose consistent with the AALAS' mission.
International individual membership associations with a purpose consistent with AALAS’ mission.
Life membership is available to AALAS members who have either a) reached the age of 65 and have been a continuous AALAS member in good standing for 20 years, or b) completed a term as president of AALAS.
The level of membership granted (Gold, Silver, Bronze) is determined by the membership level maintained during the majority of the five-year period immediately preceding the request for life membership. All rights and privileges will be confered with life membership. (See Individual Membership for the benefits for each level.)
