In order to activate your online subscription with IngentaConnect, you'll need to complete the registration form. Registration is fast and easy!

1. Enter your organization name and address, plus the name and email of the contact person for your subscription (site administrator).
   
   
2. Decide how you want your users to access the publications you are subscribed to. You may choose one or both of the methods of authentication described below.
   
   

   • IP address/range. Users accessing IngentaConnect from computers with a registered IP address will have access to your institution's subscriptions. If you do not know the IP addresses of the you wish to register, contact your network administrator. To set up, submit the IP addresses or address range of the computers to be granted access. Tip: When submitting multiple IP addresses/ranges, insert a semicolon between each: 78.123.456.789;78.456.567.765-768
   • User name and password. Create a shared login for users (login must be different from the administrator login.) Users sign in using this shared login to access your institution's subscriptions.
     
     
3. Log in as administrator to access the administrator home page. On this page, you'll create payment accounts, set up subscription access, view statistics, create alerts, change administrator or authentication details, and configure library branding. Once all details are complete, tick the box after “I agree to Ingenta's terms and conditions” and click Register.
   
   
4. Make a note of the IngentaConnect customer ID number. This is your registration ID; please provide this number whenever you contact Ingenta so we can bring up your registration details immediately.
   
   
5. Set up your subscriptions. Click the “set up subscriptions” link to add your institutional subscriptions. On the setup page, search for or browse to the journal title(s) you subscribe to. Enter your subscription number in the box to the right of the publication title, and tick the box to the left of the publication title. (See screenshot below.)
   

If there is no box to provide a subscription number, the publisher does not require one. Proceed without entering this number. Click Add.

You will see a message confirming that your request has been received. You'll receive an email confirmation once your request for access has been validated, and the publication title will appear in your current subscriptions list.
