First In Flight!

Gather up your paint brushes! The AALAS Foundation Biplane Battle contest is on!

Do you want to be part of an exciting and creatively challenging contest that’s sure to be loads of fun and will also benefit the AALAS Foundation?

North Carolina is known for the Wright Brothers whose “Flying Machine” was the first powered airplane to execute controlled and sustained flight.  That’s why, this year, the AALAS Foundation has designed a “Biplane Battle” contest and we are challenging contestants to paint/decorate a wooden 8” x 7.5” airplane – link to purchase official plane will be provided to contestants upon registration and payment of entry fee.
