2017 Spotlight Forum

The AALAS National Meeting Program Committee and AALAS President Paige Ebert are excited to announce the Spotlight Forum for the 2017 National Meeting in Austin, TX; Imagine, Invent, Improve, Inspire: Innovations in Laboratory Animal Care.

This year's Spotlight Forum recognizes and celebrates the contributions that you make in your workplace every day. If you have implemented changes in your program resulting in cost savings, more efficient processes, or improved employee morale, then your ideas are worth sharing with your colleagues on a national stage. We want to learn about the imaginative and inventive ways in which you inspire your colleagues and improve laboratory animal care at your institution. We hope you will give strong consideration to submitting a Topic or Abstract for the 2017 National Meeting. Platform sessions, posters, panel discussions, seminars, special topic lectures, and workshops are all the possible formats that could be suitable ways for you to share your information.

We especially encourage those who have never submitted material for the National Meeting in the past to do so this year. Be bold, think creatively, and recognize that any innovative ideas could be worth sharing with your colleagues at the National Meeting. As you know, the AALAS National Meeting is the premier educational event in laboratory animal science, and its success is dependent upon quality content; that content comes from you. Please help us to make the 2017 National Meeting in Austin, Texas a most remarkable and memorable educational event.
