The webinar will provide an overview of the basic concepts and key points from the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, the Animal Welfare Act and Regulations, and the PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. The presenter will focus on the highlights from each mandate that are the most relevant to the typical laboratory animal facility. Elements that are common to all the mandates will be discussed, as well as the vital differences between them. There will be a question and answer period at the end, and a PDF of the slides is included in the price of registration. The webinar will last approximately 90 minutes.
