Order the May and June Webinars

4/3/2017

Make plans to attend the May and June webinars on canine and feline communication presented by Melissa Shyan-Norwalt, PhD, CAAB.

The canine communication webinar will be held Tuesday, May 23 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM CT.

People often make the mistake of interpreting dog signals as if they were human. Dogs often interpret human body language as if we were dogs! This can be particularly detrimental in the laboratory, especially if fear is mistaken for stubbornness or leads to threat behaviors or conflicts. Let's start speaking the same "language." This presentation will show how to accurately interpret dog facial expressions and body language, based on scientific research. We will also talk about training for procedures in the laboratory setting.

The feline communication webinar will be held Tuesday, June 20 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM CT.
