WEB-081A: Anesthetizing mice presents many challenges and limitations that are not present in other veterinary species. There have been several publications in the last 3-4 years which address some of these challenges, giving us the opportunity to make meaningful improvements in the quality of the anesthesia we deliver to mice. The goal of this webinar is to discuss some of these improvements so that they can be implemented by researchers. The expectation is that these suggestions will be both practical for researchers to implement and backed by scientific data. Some of the topics discussed will be new injectable anesthetic protocols, oxygen supplementation, and the pros and cons of anesthetic reversal.
