WEB-020A: The use of zebrafish in biomedical research has increased and diversified dramatically in the past 30 years. Infectious agents present within a colony may have a significant impact on zebrafish health and research results. This webinar will describe some common diseases of zebrafish and methods for their detection and monitoring. We will discuss various aspects of a health monitoring program including choice of agents to monitor, samples for testing, and testing methodologies among other factors. information provided will help facilities understand the factors needed to develop a health monitoring program that suits their specific program.
