We will explain embryonic stem cell injections, tissue and temporal control of gene expression, genome editing nucleases, including CRISPR. Because CRISPR has revolutionized the transgenic field, we will focus mainly on why CRISPR applications have been so successful for the fast and efficient editing of the mouse genome.
